On August 28th, 2006 the Curaçao based privately owned airline InselAir made its first flight. Currently Insel Air serves 16 destinations.

In South America InselAir serves Caracas, Valencia, Barquisimeto, Las Piedras and Maracaibo in Venezuela, Medellin in Colombia and Paramaribo in Suriname. Destinations within the USA are Miami and Charlotte.

Destinations in the Caribbean are Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Kingston, St. Maarten, St. Domingo and Haiti. InselAir operates approximately 46 flights per day with its fleet of 5 MD-80’s with 152 seats, 3 Fokker 50’s with 50 seats and 3 Embraer Bandeirante with 15 seats each.

 

InselAir passengers enjoy free on-board food and beverages, two checked bags free of charge and seats with leg room of 32 inches.

  • Comfort class includes priority boarding, business lounge access, extra leg room, premium food and beverages and extra baggage.
  • Insel StarMiles: accrual of miles on every route with a redeem possibilities to every destinations. Insel StarMiles offers 4 levels: base, silver, gold and diamond. Each tier has its benefits such as, priority check-in, priority boarding, priority baggage, access to business lounge and more.
  • Online Check-in: InselAir offers online check-in through www.fly-inselair.com from 30hrs. to 3 hours before departure.
